THE NEW BANNER IMAGE IS TAKEN FROM LESLIE’S WEEKLY MAGAZINE AND ERRONEOUSLY DEPICTS THE FIRST FORMAL JURY IN THE WORLD TO SEAT WOMEN AS BEING COMPRISED OF ALL WOMEN. THAT IS INCORRECT, MEN WERE ALSO ON THAT JURY. IT ALSO SHOWS A WOMAN IN THE JURY BOX WITH HER BABY. THAT TOO IS NOT TRUE. POSSIBLY A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO DEMEAN THE SERVICE OF THE WOMEN ON THE JURY. THE JURY WAS EMPANELED MARCH 1870, LARAMIE WYOMING.
